to sum it up…

photography makes me happy!

I’ve always had a passion for taking photos, everywhere I went I had my phone in hand; the annoying girl stopping my family/friends for photo op’s or lagging behind capturing the nature and beauty surrounding us. So while I was working at Meadowood Napa Valley in the Marketing Department my husband got me a camera for my birthday and I started capturing photos for social media at events and around property. I soon realized that every time I looked through that lens and clicked the little black button, I was overcome with happiness. Nothing else mattered to me in that moment than getting the PERFECT shot. I knew then and there this is what I wanted and needed to do.

Fast forward years later and here I am running my own photography business, bringing others joy by capturing their stories. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! I can’t thank you enough for being here to get to know me and find out if I could be the right photographer for you!

facts about me

01. hometown girl

I was born and raised in Napa, and graduated from Napa High. I married another Napan, Reid Kelley, who graduated from Justin-Siena. We moved away to Chico, CA for 4 years so he could attend Chico State, then we immediately moved back. Not only are all of our family and friends here- but I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Napa is so beautiful and unlike any other place. I feel so blessed to call it my hometown.

02. super power

I can listen to a song one time and instantly know the lyrics. My mom used to say if school was taught as a musical I would have been a grade A genius. I love all genres, minus reggae and old school rap- which are my husbands 2 favorites; needless to say our road trips may or may not consist of some playlist power tripping.

03. late bloomer

I was annoyingly tiny as a kid and I used to get made fun of for not “blossoming” as quickly as the other girls in my class. I also had scoliosis and wore a brace from 6th - 10th grade. So branching out and building up my self confidence wasn’t a strong suit of mine. BUT I finally got here, and can 100% say I am a strong woman who believes in herself. Compassion and understanding is something this world could use a little more of. So shout-out to anyone out there who feels different- love you!

04. Guilty as charged

While I very much so enjoy the great outdoors and adventures, I’m definitely no health fanatic of any sort and really enjoy those Sundays on the couch. I haven’t met a carb I don’t like, growing-up a household nickname of mine was the “carbo queen.'“ So give me all the snacks and I’ll binge a TV series all day!

this guy

My husband Reid is my best friend in life. We go on adventures together, we’re weird and silly, but we also learn from one another and push ourselves to strive for the best. I wouldn’t have been able to follow my passion without his support.

adventures

I love to TRAVEL; my bucket list is honestly endless- but a few places I’ve already conquered outside of the U.S. is Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Croatia, Mexico and the British Virgin Islands. If I don’t have a trip on the books I start to get anxious; there’s just too much beauty in this world and so little time…ahhh!
